Dr. Ed Quillian
Dr. Quillian grew up in Hall County, and graduated from Gainesville High School. After completing two years at Gainesville College, he went on to the University of Georgia, where he majored in animal science and animal nutrition before going to UGA’s College of Veterinary Medicine. He practiced for four years in Cumming and returned to Hall County to open a practice in 1987.
Since opening his practice, Dr. Quillian has emphasized preventative health care in dog and cats. Other areas of interest are dermatology and pediatrics.
Dr Quillian and his wife JoAnn (our practice manager and Registered Veterinary Technician) have been married since 1978. They have two grown children and one precious, remarkable and above average granddaughter. In his free time, he enjoys fly-fishing, photography, and genealogy.
JoAnn Quillian is from Monroe, GA. While in high school she played the baritone in the Monroe Girls Drum and Bugle Corps. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a BSed and a MS in education. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2004.
She married Dr. Quillian in 1978. They have two grown children and one precious, remarkable and above average granddaughter. She has a posse of Chihuahuas (Coco and Mr. Jiggles) who follow her around wherever she goes. In her spare time she enjoys taking care of family.
Katie is our receptionist.
She is a life long Hall County resident. She attends Gainesville State College and has worked with Family Pet Clinic off and on for several years.
She helps our clients by handling phone calls and visits with a positive attitude and compassionate concern.
She has a chia-poo (Chihuahua X Poodle) that is 7 years old.
